the revelations tonight from Karen Andrews confirms the anxiety felt by Kylea Tink from last week about intimidation, sexism and misogyny within the Liberal Party ranks.
have they learned nothing from the investigations by Sex Discrimination Commissioner, Kate Jenkins, "that one in three parliamentary staffers had experienced some form of sexual harassment and almost 40 per cent had experienced some form of bullying." ABC LINK
Dutton says that he "had no concerns" about Tink's complaint.... what will he have to say about Andrews' concerns?
"Ms Andrews added that she faced isolation as a backbencher when she spoke out about incidents within her party and feared how little would change in her lifetime in the way women are treated in federal politics."
IF the Liberal Party ever want to get back in Government, they need to appeal to women voters. in order to do so, they need to start treating women MPs better.... but women have been ditching the Party. Now we know why.
