News: VEA Deals of the day-Mergers and acquisitions

Sept 12 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1330 GMT on Tuesday:

		** Intel  INTC.O  said it has agreed to sell a stake of 
about 10% in the IMS Nanofabrication business to Taiwan 

Semiconductor Manufacturing Co 2330.TW .

		** Ireland's Smurfit Kappa  SKG.I  is buying U.S. rival 
WestRock  WRK.N  for an agreed $11 billion to create the world's 

biggest paper and packaging company and try to better navigate weak economies on both sides of the Atlantic.

		** Dutch commodities trading firm Vitol is selling A$714 
million ($459 million) worth of shares in Australian fuel 

retailer Viva Energy (VEA) in a block trade, a term sheet seen by Reuters showed.

** Ithaca Energy ITH.L agreed to acquire Shell's SHEL.L 30% stake to take full control of the undeveloped Cambo oil and gas field in the West of Shetland region of the British North Sea, the smaller oil producer said.

** Australia's largest pension fund, AustralianSuper, said it would buy a minority stake in a major European data centre business for A$2.5 billion ($1.6 billion), its first significant investment into data centre platforms.

** AerCap Holdings NV AER.N said on Monday a unit of General Electric Co GE.N will sell a stake worth about $2.44 billion in the aircraft leasing giant through an underwritten public offering.
