"does that mean we’re going off the ASX and can’t do much with our shares once that happens?"
No. The shares will continue to trade like they always have.
The only difference is that there is now a very large buyer who has declared that it will stand in the market and buy as many shares as it can get at 68c.
Only if they get to 90% acceptances, in which case your shares will be compulsorily acquired by them (which I very much doubt will happen because the arbitrage guys will simply front-run them with orders of a minimum of 68.5c).
They will need to increase their bid if they want to acquire all the shares of minority shareholders such as yourself.
