Just looking at the shorts. I like to compare the new positions taken with the chart of the total shorts. When looking at GT1's there hasn't really been many new positions taken now that the SP is down.
There were some positions closed on the 18th of July around SP closing $0.69, new positions taken peaked on 17 July closing SP $0.71, and they haven't really changed significantly over that time. I can only see any new positions that have been taken since 22 August (closing SP $0.505) - and there have been very minimal (to none) new positions opened. But they also haven't been closed. Hmm. So Shorters are not prepared to take a new bet that the SP will lower from here IMO.
