Please read @Rotane's post. He's just outlined that the institutional placement was contingent on the product having already been qualified. Yet that couldn't possibly have happened, as the 20 tonnes that was on its way to be qualified by YNCC was still at sea at the time.

I'd be very happy to see any information from AGY (or any other reliable source) to indicate that AGY's product did actually clear either YNCC or Mitsubishi RtM's supplier qualification process. We shipped 20 tonnes to YNCC, 5 tonnes to Mitsubishi RtM and 0.5 tonnes to an undisclosed Japanese customer for the purposes of supplier qualification, yet we have not received any information stating that AGY's product cleared the qualification process for any of these 3 customers.

I'd be happy to see any information to the contrary, but please don't just reference a HC discussion, which is meaningless. Let's stick to tangible evidence like company releases (from either YNCC or AGY).
