They have to close the short eventually. Just means it will head back to fair value?? An announcement drop will have them covering their short quickly in a very illiquid stock as you mentioned will happen very quickly.
It would be a good time for another offtake and investment strategic partner for Lithium Hydroxide and very tempting if any one was sitting waiting for an opportunity to secure some of the production capacity (Seymour) from H2 2025 at this buy in price.
