They have told you the process in the announcement . Having CRO review data and confirm processes along with confirm stats calcs . There is a process in place to do this and the CRO will investigate the full data and see if there is an erros and then obviously double check and audit it since there is possible problem. This won't happen quickly as hence teh reason FRE has had to release these results rather than stay in halt pending investigation.
That is the way I read it. CRO and everyone inolved will be checking everything in regards to process and results and IMO FRE may even be obliged to review prior trial now it has been shown such a discrepency. Problem may be simple or complicated but probably not a quick answer as all aspects will be tripple audited and checked. FRE unlikley to dannnounce anything until they have confirmation of issue / no issue apart from possibly clarifying process , cost and time frame as they become aware of such. If there has been a failure by CRO or such there may be insurance to cover cost of additional work or trial to be conducted? That may end up as a argument so again fast answers unless a simple error this will probably take time to resolve.
Very sad for FRE and shareholders and now being played with by day traders who may get caught if they take a position rather than trade for pennies Most apart from traders and recent newsletter promo punters have seen it at low levels before so may continue to hold and depending on timeframes have future opportunity but if FRE have burden of cost of new or aditional trial it will need funding that may be dillutive. Previously management stepped in due to their confidence - they may again.
