It bares remembering that Australian Government legalised access to MC in 2016, 7 years ago. California passed the Compassionate Use Act in 1996 which went until 2016 - a full 20 years - before they passed the recreational cannabis Proposition 64 – the Adult Use of Marijuana Act.

Oz doesn't like to draw on the results of other countries proven track record in this market, they want to do their own 'research' so ... with this in mind, IMO the Oz MC market still has a ways to go. Yes, in Canberra it isn't legal, but it is decriminalised and 'allowed' for those over 18 to grow 2 plants and have 50g of dried herb or 150g undried herb, but still as a whole, as I said, there's still a ways to go.

A recent article by Forbes at https://www.forbes.com/advisor/investing/best-cannabis-stocks/ - 8 Best Cannabis Stocks Of 2023 - makes for an interesting read on NASDAQ stocks in the same'ish sector.

One thing VIT does have going for it is the way they've set up their company, staying away from growing which I assume is a massive regulatory headache and so many licences and hoops to jump through and focusing on IP (CanView), telehealth, distribution, clinics, teaching doctors the benefits, import, Dr and pharmacy onboarding etc etc (you know all this).

    Anyways,
Playing a long game here and probably best to set and forget (for a while)
