LOL i don't think that is correct, you mean to tell me the Govt can just issue a lease over private property to investigate whether there are mineral resources there without the permission of a possible private landowner hahahaha.
I think you will probably find this is all crown land and that is why the Govt is issuing these mineral leases.
The Govt can't just do as they please with private land that would e a huge concern for any landowner, if you think that is correct then prove your assumption .
Private freehold land can't then be divided up into leases that sound bs
