Gibba, its common practice to spend money from advertising/public relations budget to buy coverage in news papers or valuations by broking houses.
As for Pattersons, that seems normal too. Buy shares in the placement, release positive valuation and allow clients to exit. Nothing wrong there.
As mljet said in the BCC thread, a company needing funds for drilling and trading at 4.2c is likely to raise funds at 3c. I'd agree with him.
Considering JPR also need funds, infact more urgently time wise. Our lease depends on it. We are also trading at about 4.2c, so a direct comparission would be that JPR will raise at about 3c too.
Basically, it would seem investing now, at current levels is putting all eggs into one basket. Farmin. And it would need to be on favourable terms. The alternative 3c cr.
