ESS have ownership of mineral rights and have been granted a mining lease.

There is no mine. Its patch of dirt.

Obtaining mining lease over some land doesn't give the leaseholder permission to mine, its the first step in a long process.

Most will to ask why hasnt this been done already ?

This is DVP's skillset - operating mines.
