TACTICAL REPORT, ANDRIIVKA >>Russia's 72nd Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade has been annihiliated at Andriivka.It was reported yesterday that Andriivka had been liberated. That report was then in error, as at that point there were sections of Russia's 72nd still holding out. The area has now been pacified, and all units of the 72nd have either surrendered or been destroyed.Russia's 72nd Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade has suffered almost total losses of officers, manpower and equipment. Among these losses are >>> Three Battalion Commanders> A Brigade Chief of Intelligence> All active officers and units of infantry, and a significant quantity of equipment.Lightning thrusts into Russian lines by units of the Ukrainian army cut off the 72nd from the main body of the Russian army, isolating it. As it refused to surrender, it was then slowly destroyed over the course of a two-day operation. The brigade has, for all practical purposes, ceased to exist.Fighting continues on the outskirts of Andriivka, as Ukrainian units consolidate their positions, and continue to maneuver in the area.
