Absolutely spot-on. I've been onboard since May 2023, though I briefly dipped in and out at 5c back in 2021. What truly captivated me initially was the depth of geological expertise within the Board of Directors (BOD) and management. It's invigorating to see a company rich in geological minds rather than being saturated with accountants and lawyers.
Acquiring Tabba Tabba was a strategic masterstroke by the BOD. It stands as the final gem among the four major assets that Sons of Gwalia divested following their 2004 downfall. A quick rundown on the other three:
- Pilgangoora Lithium Project: Nestled in Western Australia's Pilbara region and under the stewardship of Pilbara Minerals Limited (PLS). This behemoth of a project is among the globe's most significant lithium ventures and is already in its production phase.
- Greenbushes Lithium Project: Situated in Western Australia's Greenbushes area, it's overseen by Talison Lithium, a partnership between Tianqi Lithium and Albemarle. Another heavyweight in the lithium arena, it's also in active production.
- Wodgina Lithium Project: Located in the Pilbara region and managed by Mineral Resources Limited (MIN).
Additionally, the SOG collapse birthed two smaller endeavors: the Mount Marion LithiumProject and the Bald Hill Lithium Mine.
Tabba Tabba was always revered as their crown jewel, attributed to the exceptionally high grades of tantalum it yielded during its operational days, not to mention its substantial resource volume. The drilling results we're observing mirror those of PLS during its nascent exploration phase. Considering Tabba Tabba's unique geology, it's conceivable that Wildcat might even eclipse Pilgangoora's resources once they shift into production mode.
For me, this stock has been a 'no-touch' since May. I genuinely believe we're merely at the beginning of an exciting journey, with the FOMO frenzy yet to truly unfold. So far, its ascent can be credited to astute investors and diligent research. Welcome aboard the Wildcat train! It's uplifting to see a surge of new faces here. I'm confident that your contributions will be invaluable.
