Hi Shelly, I hope they chose Ikafara , regional employment near the mine site. Also site would then be able to be used as a logistics hub for railway access?.
Anyway, I still have my suspicions that high opex costs in Australia was one of the factors in decision process re Kwinana, not only labour but the main one being energy cost 12.3 in Australia v 7.75 in Tanzania. And the added benefit of carbon footprint of using largely Hydro
Australia just isnt competitive unfortunately.
