It is ludicrous that you are able to suspend the company and freeze people's assets for weeks on end with a few vague words sent to the ASX I don't understand why you wouldn't have a separate release for shareholders at the very least outlining what is going on and why unlike other companies, we have to halt every time we open our mailbox. Just a 1 pager will do it, we don't need to know any real details aside from the highlights. When xfactor spoke to Simon he was very positive, because communication shows we have issues and strategies to mitigate them.
Silence creates room for speculation, fear and uncertainty. It creates the idea that there is a lot going on behind the scenes that we will never know. If you go quiet and work through the really troubling problems then when you finally break your silence those problems no longer exist and therefore don't need to be spoken about.
