The dinosaur "footprints" at Paluxy River in Texas....a favourite piece of "evidence" used by Creationists to support their hair brain version of the earth's history. If you go and visit Paluxy River you'll find that the "foot prints" are actually holes left behind after fossil hunters have dug out the dinosaur footprints.

You'll see frequent reference to this in the media and popular science magazines but I've not found any peer reviewed research that confirms the presence of genetic material or tissue in dinosaur fossils. To date the oldest DNA found has been in 800,000 year old Mammoth remains found in Greenland.

3: In Egypt they have found some etchings of Dinosaurs here and there so they knew about them obviously.

Most cultures have monsters and global floods incorporated in their religion and creation stories. Often they are embellishments of real life phenomenon such as large lizards and in the case of global floods...large floods that seem to take up much of the known world at the time.

The mythical Kraken feared by ancient seafarers is just an exaggerated version of the giant squid.....a species we find alive in the oceans today.

Your question would be valid IF sedimentary rocks were laid down and lithified within a basin and not subjected to the effects of tectonic uplift and deformation. Haven't you ever wondered how rocks containing marine fossils ended up halfway up Mount Everest?

You seem to have this idea that oil is formed from dinosaur remains. I think you need to stop reading children's books and maybe venture into the adult book section at your local library. The organic material in the source rocks that generate hydrocarbons is derived from plant material or largely microscopic marine organisms. The scene in the movie "Deepwater Horizon" where the guy retrieves a dinosaur toe nail from the shakers....it's made up. The chances of an object that size surviving intact after being crushed by the bit, smashed around the BHA and then flushed up the outside of 1000's of metres of drill string are zero.
