Logically should have no difference, but actually consolidation normally very negative for shareholders , it will kick out 90% of the penny stock punters. Not many gamblers would like to touch a no profit high SP stock, it will suddenly lose the interests from these gamblers results in short of buyers on the market. The thin spread on buy/sell side also can push some people to sell, they need money any way.

the consolidation also opens the freefall space, ie 30c-10c becomes quite easy, 10c actually should be where the fair value this company is. A no profit business.
