I don’t normally call people out on HC and indeed I don’t post much in general. But I have to say I am tired of people blaming short sellers for falling share prices. I have never short sold a stock and never will. However I am so exasperated with posters saying that short selling of itself drives a share price down. It simply does not. If you say “shorts control the price action” then you you must explain how this is so.
I do think the sell off is out of proportion given the fundamentals but it is still Commodities 101. A fall in the price of the end product means a fall in the SP. Simples.
Pick out any stock on HC with a falling share price and you will find posters barking at the moon and blaming shorters.
