These are stupid numbers/costs. Look at these prices being thrown around, Australia electricity generators would have to be the most profitable business of the next century!!
I mean AGL and Origin are getting more profit, but they certainly ain't going to be all that popular! Seriously, if the biggest coalfired plants are being shutdown, obviously there is a lot of costs eating into profits. Otherwise AGL shareholders would be laughing instead of crying today as it plummeted.
