There are solutions for the dire mire that Oz is deeply bogged in - but, they are all bad ideas and radical.
Interestingly enough as time goes on, they become more and more viable.
eg. a wild plan to get UN funding aid to turn Oz into the worlds bulk permanent nuclear waste storage site. With Oz receiving enormous up front payments and enormous ongoing annual rentals ------- and receiving part payment of getting some nuke plants built and run by others.
it's big, it's bold, it's radical ------------- and the way the world is going ------ it's more and more likely that such a plan would be taken up by not only the UN, but every nation who has waste.
yes - I'd go for that. -- But, Oz is too timid. So - I'd be a fail.
