Personally if they did the "welcome to" from an indigenous person of significance at the start I would be more in tune with the vibe! e.g. welcome to country at the MCG by Michael Long would be way more significant than Uncle Colin etc I never saw Uncle Colin bouncing the ball on the wing of the G and kicking a match winning goal! In fact I've never seen Uncle Colin doing much apart from the AFL gig. And I realise Michael Long is from the NT
