The pre-game stuff is supposed to add meaning / substance and I readily admit to not bothering to listen to the commentators slicing and dicing team line-ups etc. At the MCG Uncle Collin doesn't mess around, he provides just enough detail for people to become better informed about the history of the area and the context of the game and ends with a sincere welcome to those present - respectful stuff!
