1942 would have been the same, Russia collapsing economically just as in 1917 & 1988 while the war still waging if not for the Yanks. Stalin was sending Russians and mind you mostly Ukrainians to the front with shovels when Us stepped in and gave them $185 billion and got them fighting mechanically. High chance of 1917 & 1988 scenarios repeating for Russia this time around.
