It's my assessment that Anthony Albanese has botched the marketing of the referendum:
. He placed far too much trust in Peter Dutton and the Liberal Party - the stuff of being a political nincompoop.
. He took far too long to establish the process - it's passage through Parliament was easily corrupted by Peter Dutton and the Coalition.
. Albanese delayed announcing the referendum date for far too long.
. He's absented himself by heading off overseas far too often - leaving far too much on the shoulders of Linda Burney and thereby making the "YES!" Campaign effectively leaderless.
. His lack of 'cut-through messaging' and insipid appeal to the decency of the Australian People has left many people confused.

Despite all of that huge crowds have turned up to demonstrate support for the referendum proposal, footy crowds have boycotted the request from Sam Newman promoted by Murdoch Mouthpieces to BOOO the Welcome To Country ceremonies and only the 'Rent-A-Crowd' stalwarts have turned up to spruik the "NO!" case against the referendum proposal.

Therefore, predicting a 15 million to 2 million white-wash result in favour of the "NO!" vote seems to reflect your prejudices rather than even the most extreme findings of opinion pollsters.
