Was quietly accumulating this one back in 2019-2020. All purchases under 7 cents (56 cents equivalent). It was off the back of listening to Mike Alkin podcasts and the recollection of the 2005-2007 uranium bull market. Made a smidge on a company named Summit and then Arafura. The memory of that brought me back into this space. The Twitter space around 2019 really only had 5-10 guys if you were lucky and their posts weren't regular except for John Quakes.
Got up to 740,000 owned shares at 5.1 cents average (41 cent equivalent.) The goal was 1 million. We then upgraded our house, consolidated some stuff and sold a portion off. So, the amount owned was slashed to 430,000. I was able to sell in the 6s and I thought 'oh well... made a profit.'
Then I made the horrendous decision to sell many at around 16 cents and moved into TMZ, thinking a silver rally was potentially on the cards. It didn't eventuate and TMZ essentially went bust.
I have held the remaining 22,000 (176,000) since that time.
This latest run has seemed stretched, but it is so strong and Monday will definitely bring new highs.
$5 is possibly only a couple of trading sessions away.
My username 'Alleggsin' literally refers to this being my only holding at the time.
My goal when I was buying was 50 cents ($4). A uranium price around $50. I thought 2024. Everything Boss has done has been ahead of what I thought would be optimistic timelines.
The buying of 1.25 million pounds physical is a masterstroke. They're sitting on basically US$50 million profit from that purchase alone!
