Opinions about ALB Scheme of Arrangement, page-259

I am not Aust Super member and have no ‘direct shares’ in PUBLIC superfund accounts.
It would be interested in what you find out re how Aust Super or like handle voting in these type if situations (and its a likely similar situation when shares are held in a broker account like IG rather than direct CHESS registration).
I realise you dont get a direct vote unless you are Chess registered holder.
I recall reading somewhere that some of these funds (eg Aust Super) do not vote / abstain from voting with these ‘directly held’ shares nor can fund members cannot give any directions.
In the event that say Aust Super or like did cast a vote on these shares, would they count as 1 shareholder/HIN, or is each Aust Super member who has a ‘direct holding’ via their Aust Super account be treated as a separate shareholder (HIN) and thus count as 1 vote in the shareholder count.

Can anyone give an authorative answer?
