My point is that they will have pricing power and can price to get a return quickly on the $100m’s invested to date. If it is broad spectrum and can cure infections other drugs can’t, they can choose between lower volume / high margin as a specialised antibiotic resistant product or high volume / lower margins as the standard of care and replacement for the equivalent antibiotics. They could start high and go lower as they work to build awareness. Broad market acceptance will take years... Always good to have options !
