It will be easier for RCF to takeover 1 company that owns the whole area vs taking over two companies. So once AVL absorbs TMT it will give RCF a much easier route to owning all of it. Once they own all of it they can develop it and sell the whole thing for a decent profit.
RCF care about profit. Shareholders of a company or companies that they want are in the way. Why would they care if you make profit?
