I do not agree with the sentiment that you have discussed previously that profits will rise later in the year or next.. The chart from that video shows the classic example as to why not. Oil price and sales. Look at 2008. Pre GFC and what happened. The retail sales had never gone that far down. History repeating itself? Maybe SA are intending to crash the markets by high oil prices (again) - unlike what the Mav vid suggested (they are doing this in their own best interests)..
After GFC Oil prices continued higher once again, but the stimulus provided the impetus for steady sales. Look at the 2020 crisis. Same thing.
