I admire those that hold with such strong conviction still. I get worried because it starts to become the company of excuses.
Oh...dealing with these fabs and large companies is a complicated process and takes longer than expected...
Oh... some company we were close to signing a deal with had a key lawyer leave...
Oh...there's now an IP issue that has delayed things...
Maybe they are all true, who knows? But how many excuses will it take before you start to lose faith? I mean, there has to be some point at which even the forever faithful get nervous, right? Seeing my paper profits vanishing daily before my eyes really gives that sinking feeling. Just like the GFC.
I didn't take my profits because I was too greedy. I'll never learn. I was so bullish on this stock before. Everyone says nothing has changed and management is still best in the field etc etc. But when the sp does what this has done, my psychology falls into the same as the average punter which is why I am not very successful at investing. Hope things turn around soon and I have the nerve to wait it out.
