Hi tretchikoff, thanks for all that info. So if I am right an option at 6.5c is kind of a downpayment on a share with the balance to be paid by a certain date. If the balance or strike price is 5c the total cost of the share is 11.5c. Can the strike price change and can the options be excerised at anytime before the expiry date? After the options are excerised can the shares then be traded straight away or do you have to wait until the expiry date before you get your shares to trade. I can see how this can be a good way to accumulate for a bargin price.
