A look through the rearview mirror is terrible.
This and previous announcements indicate that they have failed over many years to integrate. Remember the intangibles write down earlier this year that related to the Home Building Society takeover?
Looking forward- if they do get their act into gear- this could be a turn around yet.
The ongoing savings in employee oncosts and leases should make a difference.
This has been the dog in my portfolio- but I sense hope. Though, hard to imagine that the same leader who got them into this mess will also get them out.
