I've put together some notes and background on some of the people and companies featuring in the top 20 holders for 2023. I find it's always useful to know who you're investing with and what some of the motives might be. Please add anything I've missed or make any corrections where needed.Number 1 isRarex Limited (REE.AX) with 10 million shares and over 18 per cent of theregister. REE is the vendor of the Australian projects at Orange East and ByroEast. REE kept the rare earth projects spinning out the other assets intoCosmos.
Number 2 isIP Concept which is held in a BNB Paribas nominee account with over 4 millionshares or 7.8 per cent of the register.
Number 3 isChurchill Strategic Investments Group with over 2 million shares or 3.9 percent of the register. CSIG is a Perth-based corporate advisory business thathas C1X, REE and Green Technology Metals (GT1.AX) as clients and is run byJeremy Robinson and Cameron Henry.
JeremyRobinson is Executive Chairman of C1X and Managing Director and CEO of REE.
CameronHenry is the MD of Primero Group (Perth based engineering and mineralsprocessing company) and non-executive director of GT1. Cameron Henry also holds 4% of GT1 via Meesha Investments and a further 4% of GT1 via Primero Group where he sits on the board. Henry and the Chairman of GT1 John Young are both ex Pilbara Metals (PLS.AX).
At Number 4is Leo Horn the Executive Technical Geologist at C1X with 1.45 million sharesor 2.7 per cent of the stock.
At Number 5is Potts of Gold Resources with 1.27 million shares or 2.33 per cent of thestock. POG is a Perth based private investment company.
At Number 6is another BNB Paribas nominee account with 1.1 million shares.
At Number 7is Swancave Pty Ltd with 925,000 shares of 1.7 percent of the stock. Swancaveis a private unlisted retail and commercial property development company basedin Perth.
At Number 8 is Tim Powe with 800,000shares or 1.5 per cent of the company. Tim Powe is a Brisbane-based lithiumproject investor. He is also in the top-20 of other Quebec lithium explorersincluding Loyal Lithium (LLI.AX) and Pure Resources (PR1.AX) as well as Pilbaralithium play Sabre Resources (SBR.AX).
Also at Number 8 is Jody Dahrouge the CEOof DG Resources, the vendor of Corvette Far East and Lasalle projects with aholding of 800,000 shares. DG Resources is also at Number 14 with an additional500,000 shares. DG Resources is based in Edmonton Canada.

At Number11 is Taylor Jane Tong with 600,000 shares or 1.1 percent of the register. MsTong is Associate Professor at the School of Business at Monash University’s campusin Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
At Number 12King Corporate Pty Ltd with 550,000 shares. King Corporate is a Melbourne-basedcorporate advisory firm specialising in mining juniors.
At Number13 is Edward Lewis Kuswanto with 528,000 shares. Dr Kuswanto is a Brisbane-basedcelebrity dentist.
IkigaiStrategic Investments at Number 14 and Evan Leap Holdings at Number 16 arevendors of a number of lithium projects in Canada and the US and often investtogether and are on the register of other Quebec based lithium juniorsincluding LLI.
