    If the oil is in sufficient volumes, the construction of the pipeline may be much faster than thought. If this discovery is considered one of national significance the Cubans will throw everything at it. 30 kilometres on 130 days seems not unreasonable.

    Does anyone have experience in laying and welding pipe and what distance per day is reasonable?
