that ‘tape deck’ above was data only, for c64. Early 80’s the 5.25 floppy drives were ridiculously expensive, so we used tape to load data. Perhaps a few minutes to load a full 32 or so kilobyte program. Good times, well fond memories at least.

on the whole Wbt/ brn/4ds ‘fight’, I cannot see Brn surviving unless someone volunteers to be a ‘customer’ as a welfare helper. They are done.

but have been reading the Wbt forums, they have some smart peeps over there, some who own both 4ds and Wbt. They know more than I do around memory and IT. I know certain 4ds fans think we have made their tech obsolete. But people smarter than myself have made some good arguments against this. I’m taking a hedge bet next week….

everyone up in arms about guido - I was super disappointed on Friday when I read the Ann - but thinking it over, it is irrelevant to where things are heading, ‘if’ you have faith that 4ds tech has made a breakthrough and will be sold for large money sooner or later. The sp can fluctuate as much as it wants between now and then, it does not reflect the companies value. Again this relies on faith, many investors won’t like that idea.
