Now the parent has gone silent. No answers, no acknowledgment that the kid is there, not even an apology for the missed timings or an explanation as to WHY there is a delay in reaching the destination.
As far as the kid is concerned, the father has now given him wrong information twice. No explanation either.
Now, in this scenario, would you blame the kid for having trust issues? Humans learn by experiences, and so far this kid has had a few experiences which isn't ideal to build that trust.
