some of you may recall that back on July 14th, I gave a report on my local Bunnings store - coincidentally perhaps, I posted that same message on the NQM & HSK boards...
it may be another coincidence, but today I went to Bunnings again not long after I had read the Takeover Panel's verdict on the complaints CQT raised about NQM, and I thought people may be interested to hear what is happening at my local Bunnings store...
the most striking thing I noticed was that Bunnings were completely sold out of Gilded Lily's - it appears there was a massive run on Gilded Lily's up to 20th July~!!! However, I also notice that the manager was hastily issuing an URGENT RECALL of all Gilded Lily's - apparently there is some material defect with them!!! Given he sold them originally and is now recalling them, I wonder if he is conflicted or non-conflicted???
You may also recall I mentioned on my last trip to Bunnings that Bunnings had an oversupply of toilet paper after a new boatload had arrived... in an interesting twist of fate, Bunnings are now desperate to offload all that toilet paper, so they are offering a free Tungsten tipped Left-Handed Long Weight (they sound unique, but I have my doubts!) with every roll of toilet paper sold!! What an opportunity I thought, but then I remembered that I am right handed!
++++++++++++
Obviously many of you may not be interested in my Bunnings report, and given this is the CQT board, I should pass comment on the great drill results CQT released today... I am thrilled at the prospect that Area 39 is possibly connected to the V2 deposit - and I feel vindicated in my long held view that the CQT ground is very prospective - many years ago I made comments on this board that Gold Fields would not be throwing time, money or resources at CQT if they did not suspect/believe there was a lot more gold/silver in this area.
From my time in the Metropolitan Fire Service (albeit brief) I learnt to respect the fact that "where there is smoke there is fire" and generally speaking, "where there is a lot of smoke, there is either a lot of fire or a hippy convention" - I guess what I'm trying to say is either the CQT ground has a lot more gold/silver to be discovered, or there is a large gathering of drug-crazed North Queensland hippies up there singing 60's music and waving their Gilded Lily's!!!!
