just a reminder that you don't need a MRE to start the permitting process (minimum 5yrs) and AKE's permitting timeline was hampered by covid, low spod prices, and inefficient applications. Canadian govts (federal less important) are spending billions to build an EV supply chain. Their huge multinational partners would not have committed if assurances had not been made regarding access to upstream supply. While there is a risk the govts may not deliver, imo it's overly simplistic and somewhat misleading to treat Arina's pemitting as if it's the same as AKE James Bay's.
