That 500,000 is misleading as it forgets to mention the deaths in the year.
The 130,000 newborns dont need houses as they actually live with their parents!
When you take the deaths into account you find that about 120,000 houses would cover it.
That is a lot less scary than the 500,000 residents.
The doco came over as a scary political ad.
