I think we need to brace for volatility. The scenario looks to me that HP has said to one or more hedge funds...please provide me with up tyo say 5% of LTR shares and I will pay you $3.00 per share...hedge funds say yes and borrow shares that they strongly believe they will be able to buy back in the future at a lower price. Saves HP driving up the price buying on market which we all know will be difficult. But once ALB leaves it might be a different story.
We have this similtaneously with GS saying new target $1.35. Even a small turn on a large number is a good profit for hedge funds, let alone if they can force the price down to say $2.50 and buy back. It's a good time to switch off and come back in about 6 months time. But I'll no doubt be back clocking on tomorrow as usual....LOL
