They publish these Gant charts with timelines with every update, but never seem to adhere to them. Timelines are nearly always extended. I recall John saying at the start of the year, even as he took over, that the timelines for items to be completed by the end of CY 2023 were a "stretched target", and so it has transpired. Now FID is H2 CY2024, so probably another year from here at least. I can't say this update conveys much excitement to me about progress with the project. It's interesting too that Jurie Wessels seems to have moved into the background. This year, I recall only one 3 minute interview with him about 6 months ago, and before that he gave regular full interviews back in 2022. Interesting that they plan to hire a "Concentrate manager". Let's hope he/she does just that. Overall, the project seems to have switched to a lower gear.
