You have absolutely no idea. The data you present strengthens my argument not yours.
They have to import everything, so it’s all more expensive.
The US data compared to SA is driving their potential borrowing costs up.
So for the simpletons, borrowing money is getting more expensive and when you have a depreciating dollar it’s a double hit as prices rise against a falling dollar and higher inflation. So you get less for your buck.
And thirdly why would I risk my money in SA risky project when US yields are so much safer??
