Talga applied for the environmental permit first in order to avoid the Norra Karr dilemma.
Since the Land and Environmental Court has examined and approved Talga‘s environmental studies, the environmental argument is exhausted.
The opponents have now applied for appealing the Land and Environmental Court‘s decision at the Supreme Court. Once the Supreme Court rules against these appeals, the environmental permit is final and cannot be questioned by any other body.
