Hidden Lake hosts lithium-bearing pegmatite dykes that are part of the larger Yellowknife Pegmatite District which have been described as the largest lithium resource in Canada with a minimum of 55,000,000 US tons at 1.41% L2O primarily as spodumene.
"The Yellowknife region has a proud history of lithium exploration, dating back to the 1950s. However, the district has been relatively overlooked in recent times until Li-FT Powersecured its potentially world-class Yellowknife lithium project in late 2022. Yellowknife is a well-established mining city with experienced mining services and workforce.
LLI has Some 315 untested individual pegmatite outcrops have been identified by the company, in addition to four other main spodumene-rich dykes, which have a drill and channel tested cumulative strike length of 2,250m and remain open along strike and depth.10 drill holes conducted to 30-50 m vertical to confirm mineralised with grades up to 1.81% Li2O
