I find the implication that DM would talk to the CEO of imec in the same manner as he spoke to that guy on a podcast aimed at day-to-day investors who know next to nothing about memory absolutely ludicrous.

To illustrate my point, go chat to a bunch of your mates. Ask them what they know about computer memory. See how many of them even know the difference between system memory and storage, let alone RAM vs Flash. He pitched that interview at exactly the right level - trying to get even the least computer hardware literate investor to vaguely understand what he was talking about. Horses for courses.

He has had such a flogging on here over the years. People calling for his resignation when platforms didn’t work out etc - even though he wasn’t involved in the technical development side of things at all.
and now he’s getting flak for speaking in laymen’s terms on a podcast frequented by… laymen.

He has successfully raised capital every time it was needed and the company is in the best place it’s ever been.
Cut the guy some slack
