There usnt any incentive for Magellan to close the gap before expiry.All that does is mean they have to put a lot of money into MGF to fund the 7.5% discount. As far as I know its a liability on their balamce sheet.
Then the rush for the exit will create a didcountbagain and they will have to keep.buying it bsvk. Rather better to wait until after expiry then deal with the discount - posdibly via offering to convert into the managed fund units.
I hope you do get back into the money on the options
