The company knew it was running late with the processing of the blood samples / analysis of the trial data and that it was going to have to issue a 3rd delay notice which is what occurred last week. They wrapped it with lots of fluffy feel good stuff as is best practice for listed companies but no new information. So it was quite a surprise for the company that this news was the one thing that finally dragged the SP off the bottom of the harbor after a full year down there with all the fishes. Since in the closing days of the 3rd quarter many of us were already expecting a delay, maybe it was just a relief that the words "coming weeks" sounded better than length of delays we have got used to.

Knowing this, its hard to imagine why they would even think of doing a CR as soon as the SP finally started moving up remembering that it was their last CR that dragged the SP down into the mud in the first place and a new one would surely kill any upward momentum dead. Not what I would expect from a CEO who has 20c options expiring next month ! If she were to do that she may as well stab herself in the foot with a knitting needle.

Besides the current cash position is okay for the moment given they are widely expected to mention the words "commercial negotiations" in any results announcement. Also the R&D rebate cash due in coming months. If there is any substance to their long touted deal then one would expect cash would either come from that or be raised at much higher prices. If not then not our problem right ? It would be highly cynical to raise cash now and a clear warning sign to run for the hills.
