Thanks for the trouble you went to. I'm not likely to ever own an EV - but who knows I said that about solar on the house roof - have it on my house and motorhome now - lol. Motorhome is 8 yrs old and wife's ICE is coming up 2 yrs. I'm coming up 71 soon. We are not nobs who have to have the biggest and best of everything. Little side issue I don't own a mobile phone - wife does. Feel sorry for the way they run people's lives.
Anyhow a friend of mine was once asked - why do you have a big boat to go fishing wouldn't it be a lot cheaper just to buy some fish and chips when you want some. His answer "What price do you place on pleasure in your life". Life is about enjoying yourself as much as possible - at 70 the days of counting the dollars are over - time to spend and enjoy. We love our motorhome and the wife holds onto her cars. Cheers enjoy your weekend.
PS Leases are an expensive way of buying/having a car. Ok as business deduction.
