That's a good find. However, as SMR-NT acknowledge, as stated by the IEA report "costs could be lower". That sounds very uncertain. The current wrangling about costs can not be settled while the SMR's still are not available and are yet to have a price tag attached. The government can be forgiven therefore for waiting for the IAEA report in 2024. Regarding SMRs for Australia, the two big hurdles of nuclear power prohibition and where they would be sited, are currently insurmountable.
