Will depend in part how much water they recover. The more water they recover, the more expensive the process.
Also,
HCl + NaOH = NaCl +H20.
So the more HCl that is in the brine, the more Drain cleaner needed to balance the pH which will mean more water.
A high school assignment would disclose more information than LKE/Lilac
